Is the negative-feedback intercept ethical?

Yes, and we're careful about this. We don't suppress negative reviews — we give unhappy customers a clear, easier path to share feedback privately first. The customer can still post publicly if they want. We just remove the friction for happy customers and add a "we'd love to talk first" option for unhappy ones. Google's guidelines explicitly allow this approach.

What if I'm in a regulated industry (medical, legal, financial)?

We adjust the system. For dental, medical, legal, and financial services, we work within compliance frameworks — HIPAA-compliant request flows, bar-association-compliant testimonial language, no protected-health-information in requests. We've done this for years; it's a well-known pattern.
